Off to Lanco for the first time this year taking the 4 stroke to race and the 600cc to install the motor Ron ran to NJ to pick up this afternoon. Alex went out on the newly redone track and the car ran real good but he needed to find a better line around. Chris and Kerry changed to set up little for the heat Alex started last due to no points and finished 6th of ten with a car he said was much better than that. Before the feature the guys made some more changes on set up. After the fact they found out what tried for the first time worded very well. But results didn’t turn out so good again. Missing 2 early wrecks Alex was on the move almost getting by the undefeated #39 car on two different occasions but the third restart was the killer. Alex made a strong move to do low in 1 and 2 but Chad Rhoads was up side down in front of Alex with no where to go he turned hard left to hit Rhoads and end up on his lid too. That was only the beginning with 4 cars in the pile up they didn’t get Alex turned over quickly enough and fuel went on the pipe and caught fire a very scary moment for Team WeeBee Alex had to stop by the Ambulance th get his back checked for small burn. Unfortunately the crash took a wing ,pipe, nerf bar and some other small odds and ends. No big deal it will be back to almost new in a week or two. Hoping it will get better soon, thanks for stopping by. Off to Path again next Friday night.
Falling a little behind in results. Saturday June 9,2007 off to Trailways in Hanover PA to run both the 600cc and the 1000cc. Jeremy and Chris both were along as well as Mrs. WeeBee. It was another tough night at Trailways for team WeeBee. Alex’s car was acting funny in warm ups it had a miss and we just serviced the carbs. They guys took them on and off 4 times and still couldn’t get the car to run right. Alex went out for the heat starting on the poll he slowy fell back but qualified for the feature. The guys added 2 teeth to the rear end due to it sounding dead coming off the corners. He started 14th in the feature and missed some early wrecks and moved up a few spots and about half way through he pulled off with motor issues. The sidewinder for Kerry just had the injectors cleaned a the team hoped for a good run but that didn’t happen either. The new engine runs good at high RPM’s but not very good at all other than that. Kerry limped his way through the night with a 5th place finish in the feature. Kerry said the sidewinder was heading to Guhl to be dynoed the guys are sure the mapping is way off.
