Well it started out bad when yet another chance at running was canceled. Path Valley canceled their show in the early part of the afternoon even though it wasn’t raining. After pondering trying to find another place to run or get the TQ ready for a Sunday event Chris and Kerry decided to go to Linda’s and see if Alex could get a whole show in. So we where off to Linda’s Speedway at just before 5pm. everything was cool the new truck and trailer set up is awesome it pulls great they say. Alex drew a great number for his heat starting spot and took advantage of it he finished 3rd which got him automatically in the main feature event they had 44- 600cc cars on hand. Alex started 12th dead in the middle of the feature line up all around him seasoned veterans he the loan rookie starting in tonight’s event. There was 2 early yellows then about 18 green laps Alex gave and took what he could with a strong field of cars finishing 12th in his first ever feature in the 600cc class. On a fun note Alex and his buddy Alex Bright raced tight most of the feature event with Alex Schanz almost getting Alex Bright on the last last lap. Man people thought it was Kerry in the car not Alex who never drove it before. Good job kid! Well the schedule didn’t have this but we’re so pumped up about last night we are off to Lanco for Alex to run 2 classes tonight the 600cc and the 250-4 stroke.
