It was Friday, October the 13th and it turned out to be a pretty good night for team WeeBee. They took both dirt cars to Linda’s Speedway. Alex ran his 4 stroke against the regulars in 125cc 2 stroke class.He finished 6th in his heat and the car needed some work. So Jeremy and Shawn put their heads together with Chris in tow and changed gearing and a few small chassis adjustments and sent out to battle. Starting way back in the field in 16th. Alex picked his way through the field and finished a respectable 6th over all and second in his class, the first time on the 1/4 mile. That was the last race of the season for that car.

Now for the 600cc class Mr. WeeBee has not run this car since 4th of July weekend when it went up in flames after destroying a engine going down the back stretch at Susquehanna Speedway. Drawing a good starting spot in the heat the bright pink 1K finished a strong 2nd place and was headed to the feature for sure. Linda’s had a strong field of cars getting ready for next weeks Nationals. Starting 5th in the feature Mr. WeeBee had his work cut out for him. Track champions and rookie of the year contenders beside him it was show time.Getting a great start and getting past the 3rd place starter we where off….we went 17 laps before a yellow actually closing in on the leaders the yellow was bad news for two reasons the other was our right rear tire was going down. We held on for a top 5 and were very happy with out come. When we pitted after the scales the RR tire was down to lbs. of air.
