Team WeeBee decided to race Sunday this week due to questionable weather
that never happened.

The team rolled out early for the season opener at Shippensburg Speedway. For the second race in a row Mr. WeeBee drew a great starting spot for his qualifying event. He started on the pole and lead wire to wire with an impressive win says the crew.

Shawn the crew chief and Kerry decided to make some chassis changes for the main event. The track was dry and getting blacker by the lap. They changed right side rubber fueled it up and waited for the main event. With a starting spot outside front row in the feature the team had high hopes. Mr. WeeBee got an awesome start and out drove the pole setter to the first corner. The race went 15 laps with no yellows and over half the field was down a lap. Then 2 back to back yellows the second is when the scare came when the second place driver ( #12G Glenn) drove up over the Pink #1K when yellow came out both drivers kept going. We were sure some damage had to be done but not enough to pull off. The drivers exchanged some displeasure of one another and the flagman warned them both with the black flag. They went back to green and away they went, the announcer set it up to be a shootout but WeeBee Audio Video #1K drove away for the win in the Season opener.
